There's a new tea shop called Bubba Tea, on Northmount and 14th, where Phillips ice cream used to be (right by Riverstone pub).

They just opened last friday, and i went in yesterday and got some tea. they have like 235083475934825763429 different kinds, and you can get them all done as a slurpee. i had green tea and apple slurpee-style, it was great.

thought i'd let everyone know this place is there, they just opened and i'm sure they could use the publicity.

if anyone tries it, let me know what you guys think

Lately in the summer I've been getting a lot of bbtea from the Pearl House in dragon city (China town). It's hella cheaper than what you pay for at try again and dessert house. 2.95 compared to 4-5$ at those places? O_O_O_O

^ The owner of that shop is a loser. He takes forever to make your bbt and always goes out and puts a sign up "Back in 10 mins"

Personally have not experienced that any time I've been there. He's always there, always friendly, and always prompt. They have a great selection as well.

So I went to the bubba tea on north mount and 14th. It was ok...But it for sure beats the place on the Uof C Campus....

By far the best bubble tea you can get is the place in the t and t marketplace. Bubleicous? I think is it call that... Anyway all of there drinks taste just like you are eating the it. (Aka a mango bubble tea tastes exactly like mago ect)

when i was in calgary last year, i got a shock when i saw how much they charge for bubble tea at tnt mall.they jack up the price so much!!

there used to be a season when bubble tea is in trend and everyone is drinking that. many shops sprouted, selling that..eventually the fad fades and shops close down. now the usual price over is $1.20 per cup =) thats like $0.90 cad

Atomic was not bad, not great...small BBT, soso pearls but tons of jelly choices....

Spice Cafe was good, that peach almond icecream one was fantastic....Still not peerless though....
