stupid fog light question

this is a stupid questio nbut can anybody tell me why the fog light switch is different like .. when u switch it up or down...?! haha i dont c any difference

motorize so they turn with the steering wheel is the down position. Up just turns them on but they are stationary.

up activates steerable fog lights. down is stationary

The switch controls whether the fogs stay on when the head lights come on.

jdms have 3 positions. Up motorized, middle off, down stationary.
