well, can you install performance chips on hondas? if so, it could raise the vtec engagement point

I think the whole idea would be to lower the VTEC engagement point, so you get the high-cam profile lower in the rpm range. But, now i-VTEC is out, so the V-AFC has no use on newer model Honda's.

More relating to the topic...I once heard someone say they had a NASCAR chip! LOL. Aren't NASCAR's carb'd?

More relating to the topic...I once heard someone say they had a NASCAR chip! LOL. Aren't NASCAR's carb'd? iVTEC doesnt vary the high-cam profile engagement point...on iVTEC, the aggressive lobe engagement point is still fixed

Depanding on the model of car and mods done will depand on what you want to do with x-over. On a stock lude you will want to lower the x-over. On a stock camed b18c1 you will leave it alone and on a b18c1 with any after market cams you will need to raise the x-over point. etc....

NASCAR was (maybe still is) carbed but they are going to FI sometime but i am not sure when that is going to happen.
