100 Octane

Anyone know where to buy 100 Octane in Calgary? I have never seen it at any pump, so I don't know if it is even available anywhere. I am interested because if I use the 100 octane program on my chip I can get 345hp and 405lb/ft. The 91 octane program is 307hp, 366lb/ft. Does race city sell it?

Mohawk gas station that is at the SW corner of the air port sells VP fuels in all sorts of different octane ratings. They sell unleaded race fuel upto 109 octane (with several grades below that) and also have a bunch of leaded race fuels for sale too. They sell most of them in sealed 5 gallon drums, but also have some they that they can pump directly into you tank, but I'm not sure what octane ratings are avalible that they will pump.

They are actually the distributor of VP fuels for all of alberta.

I've purchased 109 unleaded there a few times before, but only in the 20L drum - which isn't that big in case you're wondering how you'll get it home. Trunk will work perfectly. ;)

It's over $100 for 20L, just if you're curious. Maybe $120 right now with gas prices hwo they are.

$6 a litre for 109 isnt that bad of a deal.

Yeah, the last time I bought it it came to about $100 for the 5 gallon (which is actually 19L)

I'm only guessing though that the price would go up with that stuff inline with regulare gas prices, btu I coudl be wrong about that.

Give them a call and get a quote though to be certain.
