Exactly I imagine a trailered race car thats not registered for street use doesn't have to follow the import rules.

Bingo, guys it's gutted and caged, and dealer plates are used to get between stages. This looks like a stage-prepped rally car. Him selling it doesn't discredit him at all.

Kuks shady? How can you guys call him shady when you havent even seen is work? I've worked with him for over a year and he's the best tech i've seen hands down. Common now clearly you guys dont know a amazing tech when you see one. he's built rally cars from the ground up. i've seen it! And yes. the STI is not for city roads. Yes the price listing should be up and i'll ask him to put them on. :D

whats the point? you still don't have liability to drive it around legally...and to register it you need to have liablility im pretty sure...excuse my terrible spelling

That subie is totally legal if it was imported as a specialty/race/show car. Basically that means it cannot be driven on any public roads (unless it is a closed course). Looks totally sweet. I believe the EVO 1 was released back in 1992, which makes it legal next year, and there are probably some WRX'es which were made at towards the end of 92. Though honestly I don't see the appeal of RHD.

Wowy, love that 22B front bumper!!! Almost looks like the last owner had a FMIC in there.

Looks like they're a sponser of beyond -- anyone had them do any work on their Lancer?

Kuks dose some amazing job keeping these abused rally cars on road and many people trust him with their exotics. If you looking to get things done to the lancer you must know that before he open the shop he worked for mitsu.
BTW Kuks wrote custom maps for this yellow ralliart after he installed turbo and motec ECU, pretty impressive if you can do that from the scratch.

Do a LHD converion, thats what I would do

Rally cars are not under 15 year rule, that's why we have Evos, Escort Cosworth, RHD STI's rallying in Canada and they are street legal. If you can convince your insurance ($$$$$) there are no problems with the plates.

just scroll down till you find it

http://www.carsrally.ca/CARSRally/
see if you can find some info on CARS page since the CARS office must certify vehicle as competition car - impreza was sitting in Vancouver with customs for weeks until all paperwork was approved by CARS

"No guarantee that provincial government will license the vehicle" we have 2 imports in Alberta and some in BC most of them in ON and QC

You just don't see the Beyond spotted threads since these are race cars and are only at the track.

It just shows the folks that are not part of the motorsport scene. ;)

Still need proof?
