hello guys
sorry i dont know wher to put this post
My question is
i know ups charges a shit load on duty if u get something from the us
im geting 4 rims from the stats and i cant go fed ex or usps (canada post0 becaues ther say each box weighs to much like 3 lbs over the weight restriction.

so what i was wondering how do i get around paying huge dutys on these rims trough ups?
or dose anyone have any other ideas?
ups told me they put like 11 % on the value of the packages so i could just say the rims are cheep like 11 each so duty is less but then if something happens im shit out of luck
anyone know what to do please help.

Shipping with USPS w/tracking avoids the brokerage fees for bringing them across the border.

If the rims were manufacturered in USA/CANADA/MEXIO there are no duties to be paid. All you will have to worry about is the 5% tax that Alberta imposes on bringing these into Canada.

If you can't find anything about the rim manufacture just show proof that the vehicle was manufactured in one of the three countries listed above and put that they are the stock wheel from that model of vehicle.

... just saw the other thread that has the link. UHNG

do this, whatever you do, dont ship UPS across the boarder. USPS is hte way to go, if not just go pick them up from the boarder. You WILL get fucked.
