Out of province Car

Hey guys,

My father inlaw is moving here from Montreal, if he want to ship his car here what does he need to do to have it insured and registered?

Any help would be great as we're looking into shipping it here in a couple of weeks.

1. To get the car insured call a Insureance company and pay them money. Get them to fax ya confermation of coverage.

2. Reg. Go to Alberta Reg. Depot pay them money,
3. show proof of insurance get paperwork for out of province inspection.
4. Go to inspection garage. ie candain tire or for a better price some local guy, get inspection done.
5. take the paperwork back to registry. Done.
