This one is a better phone...My friend told me the V60 customers always bring it back for repairs!! I do have the original faceplate but its a bitch to switch...

I personally prefer the V60 over the V66. Mainly because V60 has external caller ID. But the reason why there are less repairs for it is because the only provider that carries a V66 is Fido, and practically nobody uses this phone.

Did I mention this phone is UNLOCKED??? You can use it with any GSM provider!!This phone is $450 right now thats why you dont see alot of people with it!!:dunno:

i agree, also if you compare the two phones together, the build quality is so much better with the v60, i've had two v66s where the top just snapped off the phone . . . but if you want a unique phone for pretty cheap, then buy the v66, especially with teh clear housing this guy has

Sure it might be unlocked but that still limits your options as far as networks. It's a GSM phone so it can only be used with a carrier that uses GSM and the only two in this country are Rogers and Fido.

I dunno about people always bringing in their V60s for repairs...I sell cell phones and the V60 has always been a top seller (especially now that the phone dropped like mad in price). But for the amount we've sold it's got a pretty low repair rate.

Reason why people get a phone like a V60 for $50 (deal right now) is cause they do sign on to a 3 year contract...otherwise if they wanted to buy it outright it would cost them $500

Do you have a contract with Telus right now?

If you don't or your contract is coming to an end I would suggest the V60....incredible price and it's a pretty amazing phone with a whack load of features.

Or the Samsung A540. Been using it for roughly 5 weeks and I have dropped maybe three or four phone calls and I use my phone ALOT! Only complaint I have about the A540 is the battery life....if you use the phone alot you're gonna have to charge it every other day or even every day. Sometimes the battery doesn't last me throughout the day but that's alright...it's a great phone!

That means you are locked into a contract for 2 years at a minimum of $20.00 per month for 24 months and your phone is locked to Rogers.

The one importz is selling is Unlocked which adds $40.00 to the value of the phone and you can use it with any service provider that offers GSM in the world since it is a tri-band phone. So instead of paying roaming charges when you travel you can just pick up a local prepaid SIM and save alot of $$$. Also you can go month-month and cancel anytime you want.
