Uhh....

$1000 downpayment
$169 x 24 months = $4056
$1 buyout

So you want $5057???

It's a friggin' $1500 camera used man.

$1500 camera used. $1000 down. $500 "loan".

$3500 of interest on a $500 loan, I'd love to get into that business .

If the total payments ended up to be like $1600 or $1700, I would've picked it up as a backup camera. You need to PAY someone to take over the lease, sorry to say.

Man, I would talk to a lawyer if I were you. I have a hard time beliveing that interest rate would be legal in this country.

This is Canada, not the USA. That 'loan' is in loanshark territory.

well i asked how much to pay it off outright and they told me $4500, i've had the lease for a year.

the equipment alone was $3500 so i could see the overall amount paid as $6000.

its not 1500, its not Just the camera! the package was $3500.

Maybe someone can only afford $170/mnth and not the whole $2000 at once... thats why leasing companies are in business, they feed off of people who dont have the money up front.
