Fido text messages free?

hey!
me and 5 of my other friends thought we signed a contract with fido saying we get free text messages fido to fido!

guess not!
last 4 months.. our bill trippled!
we called them and they fixed the text messages for us!

then today i call them again to fix my test messages again!
and they inform me that the FIDO TO FIDO package is only for phone calls..

we all thought we signed a contract saying we get free text messages to. i can't find my contract saying what i get and what i don't..

Just wondering if anybody here get free text messages with the FIDO to FIDO package? checked the site and my friend said they changed it.

and why would they fix my text messages for the last 3 months and today tell me we don't get free text messages..

I remember there used to be a package with free Fido to Fido everything. Read your contract if you still have it. How long is your contract? You might be getting screwed and I wouldnt doubt that you are because Fido sucks now and have screwed me over with a bunch of billing stuff lately too. I would have switched over to Bell by now if their unlimited evenings didnt start so damn late.

sending text messages is always free, receiving them is what costs you an arm and a leg (15 cents each)

I've had the fido-to-fido plan since it first came out maybe 2 years ago. ( free national one) and i've had free text msging (between fido-fido) since day1 until maybe 3-4 months ago when they started charging me for it. I didnt call and ask them about since I was out of country for a couple of months but if it shows up again on the coming statement I will definiitly have to call and bitch

it is included, call again and bitch, they are having system gliches (sp).

they billed me $100 for 3790 text messages, most is fido to fido,

while you are there, make sure you check your phone #'s and that they billed it correctly too, the error has not been fixed, i had to call in for the last 2 months, to let them konw to reverse the chrages. :thumbsdow

I got the fido-fido package as well and I've had unlimited Text messaging ever since. Even after Telus offered to match my plan from Fido (per second billing, detailed bills, free new phone, unlimited txt messaging, etc.) they still kept my text messages free. Thank god cause I text message like a mother fucker! >500 a month!! :eek:

Just got off the phone with them. Between Fido-to-Fido 'Subscribers' All phone calls AND Text within Canada is unlimited. Make sure to call them and check your statement since June as she said that many people got charged and they will credit accounts for whoever calls fido to notify them. On a side note...found this kinda funny:
