Any news about the Evolution X being avaliable in Canada in 2007?

Supposed to come out late 07 early 08 and yes from everything I have heard it will be released to us in Canada.

I dunno that was the plan, but from everything I have heard it is getting pushed back, I am down in the states right now and went to the local mitsu dealer and they even told me 08.

Since the final version has not been shown in the auto show circuits (only mock up and concepts), I would expect it to my here Sep 07 earliest.

And if they're doing phased roll out, probably Sep 07 for Japan and Spring 08 for everywhere else in the world.

Any earlier would be a surprise. Dealers may not be trusted because sometimes they just want your deposit and hold you over so you won't go buy something else.

There was a link posted here a few weeks ago, saying North America will have first grabs at the Evo X after that it will go to Asia

It will most likely be cheaper than Canadian STi's since Canadian Subaru dealerships are charging far more than US dealerships. If they make an EVO X MR it may be around the same price as an STi but regular EVO's will most likely be cheaper.

I would expect EVO X to be the same as WRX's price.

Yea I'd imagine it to be a bit cheaper then the sti, mainly because there is no middle ground between the Ralliart, (the top non evo lancer) to the evo. Subaru has the wrx, so I think a 20g's price jump would be a bit steep. But with that said, there are rumors out that the 07 lancer will come turbo charged with a possibility of awd, so I guess only time will tell...

I had the oppertunity to test drive a Evo 9 MR this week and all I can say is if the X is a step in the right direction and they improve on the 9 it will be well worth the money, performance wise anyway.
