Hello
Got a brand new Toshiba Satellite p100-JR1 laptop. The box has been opened but I have never actually used the laptop for more then 10 min. I tried it out and its too big for me, but would be awesome some someone who loves big screens, as this screen is beautiful. Has 8 month toshiba warranty left (Toshiba warranty works from date of manufacture, not date of purchase) Can also get 2 more years warranty for extra $100 dollars.

This laptop sells right now at futureshop online only special price of $1350+taxes. Get one in same condition for much less. All protective plastic is still on the laptop, battery never been used and all manuals and everything is sealed.

Here are the specs.

Intel Centrino Duo T2300 1.66Ghz/Core
17" TruBright LCD WideScreen 1440 x 900 ( WXGA+ )
512MB DDR2 Ram(Exp. To 4GB)
100GB SATA Hard Drive(5400RPM)
DVD Super-Multi Drive +/- Double Layer DVD Burner
128MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 Dedicated Video
Harman Kardon Stereo speakers
Built in WiFi A/B/G

PRICE: $1100

depending which games you play. It won't be very good for stuff thats very current and new, would prolly suck at that but games like half life and what not should not have any troubles. There would be no video playback problems at all that I could think of, i mean it got 2 processor cores to handle alot of multiprocessing.

Sounds like a really nice laptop for home use, really. I think movies/games would be handled ok, though you won't really get to play the newest games from the sounds of it.

If you want a gaming laptop go with alianware... Im sure you could play some games on this laptop but that's what's a desktop is for.
