Anyone know of one?

Im planning to take a girl out pretty soon here and dont know where we could go!

I know that there is a place on Edmonton trail, as soon as you come up from the hill coming from downtown its on the right hand sid, i always see a line up so i was wondering if this place was any good?

any other suggestions?

thats a little vague...

what kind of food?

how much you looking to spend?

buffet style? sit down?

Casual dining? fine dining? etc etc?

if none of the above applies I recommend McDonalds, fast, easy, and smiles are free. A girl will never turn you down if you buy them a happy meal, especially if you let them keep the toy.

To answer DeeK first...

Im looking for a place that serves mostly American and European style food. It has to be a sit down place that has a great atmosphere, but nothing too elegent. A casual dining place will do as im looking to spend about 20/person for just food.

Thanks for the reply ringer, but i narrowed it down right here!

+1 for that place. Super nice there

I don't think it's high end or anything so would be a good choice plus the times that I've been there, wasn't busy.

I believe that's Boogie's Burger's you're thinking of. It's definitely got good food, and can easily cost $20/person, but it's definitely not the most elegant place you'd want to bring a girl to.

If you want a decent meal for lunch/brunch, I'd suggest Madison's up in Brentwood. Great food, great decor, and decent prices. I heard there's also one in Beddington, but I'm not too certain on that location though.

if you're looking for eastern european, try jonas (downtown)

about $10/meal, but definately underpriced

good as fuck and not pretentious (i've been groomed as an epicure but hate food snobs)

Oh, and the place on Edm. trail may be Diner Deluxe...

it's kinda like a high class interpretation of classic short order food... definately good if it's your thang
