Is it supposed to hidden or something, where if you flip the board over its just a flat carpetted spot??? or is it supposed to be like that, then why is it upside down??

uuuummmm....ya its mounted and bolted to the frame and has a swivel to get at the wires easier. its in the "frunk" of the MR2. laid together? i think not. if you guys knew a little bit about install, you would appreciate it. and its not for any regular car, this post was meant for the MR2 owners so they get an idea of what kind of installs you can do with an MR2. honestly, WTF are you guys talking about?? shitty install? maybe the pics dont do it justice, but if you saw it in person youd know its not a shitty install....JFC can no one appreciate anything?

seriously, what is wrong with it? ya its mounted on a carpted board, but how else do you figure it gets mounted in there? aside from building a whole custom enclosure in the frunk? holy shit you guys obviously dont understand the minimal space the mR2's have for stereo equipment. its the idea. and i dont understand how it looks so bad?

the main thing is you should be proud because you installed it yourself, it works and that's all that matters!

here's an idea: this guy custom made a rack to fit in the frunk, it
fits the top of the spare tire and held in place by the plastic frunk
trim piece and tubular spare tire framework, no bolts or screws, just a good tight fit and he supposedly had no issues of it moving around.

here's some pics of the finished product:

more details, clicky:

takes a little effort but it could be a neat little project if your into that type of stuff :)

that is a cool idea, however i did the best i could with what i had in front of me at the time, everything i had to install it was laying around my house somewhere. im just wondering how that stays in there, and is easily taken out to get at the battery, thats another reason i didnt do something like that yet cuz this way i could get to my battery easily.

actually thgis amp instlal guys may seem cheap but its not how the amp swivels around and is protected so when the car drives the amp wont fuck up

Whatever man, it's not essential what others think about it. As long as YOU like it and it works for you, I can only respect your effort.

its not the PRETTIEST install i admit, it wasnt supposed to be pretty, its supposed to be functional and out of the way...which it is 100%
