I have a pair of 512MB Kingston DDR 3200 (maybe 2700) SODIMM. I will have to check on the speed. They were in my Centrino laptop and worked fine for the year and a half or so that I had them. My laptop died for unrelated reasons, so i can't show you that they work on my current laptop, but you can test them out on your own if you want.

I also have the original Kingston 256 MB DDR SODIMM that came with my laptop. I'm sure all 3 sticks are the same speed. PM if you're interested.

DDR2 (which is what PC2 5300 is) is not backwards compatible with DDR (which is what 2700 and 3200 are).
