Original paint is excellent, barely ANY rust. Interior is in good shape.
Compression Test reads: 145 140 140 150 :thumbsup:

Relatively stock looking, no ricer garbage.

Full synthetic oil changed often.

Doesnt really matter what RPMs you enter third, it seems to do it when it wants...BUT if you shift fast, it will do it regardless of the RPM...so the trick is slow baby shifts.

well about the talon,
i've had 3 cars since the talon now, i'm on my second silvia and i had a cavalier cause i crashed my first one. but as soon as winter started this year there was only one thing i could think about really and that was how much i wanted the talon back!!!
never had a car better on snow and ice(funner to;)

Dood, its a 17 year old car with a messed 3rd gear syncro! It does not need a new transmission! We are talking $3K here, not $30. Drive the fucken thing till it dies and guess what? Buy another $3K car! We are not talking about replacing a 7spd Lexus transmission.

He is one of the very few people that will post every exact problem with the car. 90% of AWD DSM's will not have a strong transmission! They get bagged the fuck out of!

$1500.00 is more of a fair price for a DSM shell, this thing runs, has a few extra go fast goodies and is in all around decend shape.

2.4l you say youve had 8 DSMs in your lifetime...You must have been dreaming or something to have 8 DSMs and not one have a tranny issue. Even if you didnt you should know someone able to put in a new tranny. 2000 bucks and ill get you 4 trannys.

Your current DSM FS, is in good shape but lets face it, its not gonna be very fast....its basically stock
- Intake, and Exhaust...Sandpaper doesnt count as headporting...
so to call it "the fastest DSM youve owned" is kinda pathetic bud.

Hoey, if I were you, I would take up Forcefed (Chris) on his offer. I've known him for years.... and if there is any person on here that can bring a car like that back to spec, it would be him. He knows DSM's inside out. At this point, I don't think it should be about the money.
