English Class Recommendation at UofC

Well I need to take either 2 half courses or 1 full course of English over the next 2 years to meet the requirements for dentistry at UofA. I'm actually decent at writing and everything, but more so when it has to do with straightforward writing rather than metaphoric and symbolic shit. with that said, what are some of the easier 200 level english classes to take at UofC, and are any particular teachers recommended?
