New Camera

I'm thinking about a new camera, I dont take 'serious' photos yet but its something I am interested in. I want something decent and from the reviews that I have read the Canon seemed like a good deal.

Your thoughts??

If you want a Canon consumer SLR, wait for the Rebel Xti to be released. Either you'll get a better camera for the same amount of money, or you'll get the Rebel XT for cheaper. Either way, you win.

That being said, be sure to check out the comparable Nikon bodies before you drop the cash, such as the D50 and upcoming D80.

(I want a D80 so bad.)

If you're looking at the Rebel, it won't hurt to also take a look at the D50.

:werd: the Rebel XTi has a new dust reduction system built in. Probably will be worth it for that feature :thumbsup:
