Why in the fuck does it matter that he drives a neon, look at wtf you drive a scooter(too poor to actually buy a real car). Its not that fact that he may get a *fat check*, its the fact that he put time and money into that car. Its like you working on your car putting time and effort and some sob come and steal it from right under you. Oh my God I cannot believe I didn't see this earlier!!!

I was about to head downtown yesterday but decided to drop off some things at home first so as I was on the Crowchild ramp waiting to turn left onto 53rd street when I noticed the red Neon in front of me with "Come on it's just a neon" on the trunk which made me laugh. Didn't think it would be a stolen car though!!

The time was September 8th at 7:00PM.

Car appeared to be in very good condition and was driven EXTREMELY carefully.

Saw this thread yesterday, and while I was driving today I see this red neon (same color) with the indent in the hood pass by me, was your exact same car in every way. The first thing I looked for was for that "come on its just a neon" sticker, but to no avail.

Anyways wanted to say Hope you find your ride, and I will continue to be on the lookout in the south.

as shitty as it sounds, this may have been a good thing for you.

Spend good money on an interior detail. A neighbour of mine had a couple syringes located in the back seat creases of her stolen/recovered civic.

jsut make sure to put a hidden fuel cut off switch, then you dont need an alarm, they cant get away with it...

How hard is it? I'm kind of tempted myself... Although I think i'd do the relay thing to for remote starters.

its not hard

quite easy actually.. just need to know which wire is the power for the fuel pump

the relay is a little more complex and im not sure how exactly it will work if u dont use the starter

It is too easy to get into a Neon without damaging the lock. There are some things that can be done to make it more difficult to get in though.

I was driving downtown (well, I was passenger) and we saw a neon getting broken into... but the driver wouldn't stop, so I couldn't go scare em away... It was white and blue... I'm really pissed at myself for not doing anything.

Thats awsome that your car was recovered, and that there was little damaged. Everything in the end sort of worked out, and you got double your money back for what you paid for it.
