Physiotherapy and all of rehab medicine is moving to an after-degree, Master of Science program. In the past, students could apply and enter physio immediately after high school, but they have changed the requirements now.

There is only one school for Physiotherapy in Alberta - in Edmonton at the U of A.

As far as being a sports medicine doctor, you need to do medical school like other physicians and then a residency in a related field. There are no straight out "Sports Medicine" residency, but you could do physical and rehab medicine, orthopedic surgery or something along those lines. Then after your residency some people may want to subspecialize and do a fellowship specifically in sports medicine. I am not sure if this is what you are interested in doing, though.
