1996 Honda Prelude SR. H23 4cylinder engine with 233,xxx kms.
Black on black.
5 speed, power everything. CD player. No AC.
Timing belt and water pump replaced.
Absolutely MINT condition. No body rust, underbody is clean. Interior is in AMAZING shape. One of the cleanest Preludes in Canada.
Everything is stock except:
AEM Short Ram Intake
Drilled rotors w/ new rotors, pads, studs, lines.
8.5mm spark plug wires.
Vibrant front strut bar.
DC Sport rear tie bar. (Car handles amazingly, even on stock suspension)
MOMO Airmetal series Shift Knob
MOMO Airmetal E-brake
MOMO Airmetal Pedals
MOMO Leather shift boot
MOMO Leather E-brake boot
Original wheels w/ still lots of tread left on the tires.
Regular oil changes (every 3,000-4,000 kms) ONLY with Mobile 1 5w30 full synthetic motor oil.
ONLY sees HUSKY 92 Premium fuel.
Gets washed every week if not every 5 days.

The bad:

Engine needs a connecting rod bearing replaced. This requires the bottom end to be taken apart. Car still drives but it's recommended to fix it as fast as possible.

Here are some estimates to give a rough idea on the price:

Honda West estimated $1,300 plus parts (parts aren't expensive so labour is the main part)

Silverhill estimated around the same hours of work.

Alvin Automotive estimated $1,700 for labour.

Midas mechanics estimated less hours of work but I don't know how accurate they are.

This would be a perfect car to drop a JDM H22A (Around 3,000 installed) into or if you would like to fix the original engine, it still runs very good and the repairs would run you from $1,500 - $2,000. You would have a PERFECT car for under $9,000. The body on this vehicle is in great shape, transmission is very good, brakes are new with 90% left on all pads, suspension is in great shape.

I am incredibly sad to see her go but I can't afford to repair her at the moment.

Had no signs of it before, even in the inspection.
