Of course, the list isn't based on the most accurate data, as they use the EXIF data provided in the uploaded photos. It's still interesting to see though:

1. Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT
2. NIKON D50
3. Canon EOS 350D DIGITAL
4. Canon EOS 20D
5. NIKON D70
6. NIKON D70s
7. Canon PowerShot S2 IS
8. Canon EOS 30D
9. Sony CYBERSHOT
10. Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL

Rebel XT = 350D, so move everything from the 20D down, up a notch.

Canon and Nikon FTW.

Now, that being said, I think mainly DSLR users are going to leave EXIF data in their images, while P&S users may not.

Yeah, some do and some don't. I always leave mine so other photographers can see what settings I used.

Interesting stats, is the differentiation between the 350 and the Rebel XT simply Canon's naming system for different countries? Yes, I know its the same camera.

I'm also wondering why they chose not to call the D70 and D70s the same camera?

Yes, it's just different names for different countries. In North America it's the Rebel XT, in Europe it's the 350D, and in Japan it's the Kiss n Digital.

The D70 and D70s are different cameras, the s denotes some improvements and added features over the D70. Not many, but they are there - much like the 20D and 30D.
