Anyone recommend a decent and affordable place to get my flywheel re-surfaced. Auto-value wants $60.00, a bit much for some guy who probably doesnt know what he's doing.
Thanks!

Does Moores still do flywheel resurfacing?
I got mine done at Auto Value last time because Moore's closed down. I heard rumours that they reopened though.
$60 is an ok deal. I paid about that much at Autovalue last time I think. It costs more if your flywheel is stepped as opposed to flat.

make sure when you get it machined that you take into account that if enough material is removed a shim may be needed to compensate for material removed. I think up to .0040" is safe, but anything past requires a shim, but dont quote me on that

Also if you cant find a decent place to do it, try B & E machining in Cochrane, they did mine and they did an amazing job:thumbsup: I think i paid like 62 bux after tax and everything

It's a fucking brake lathe, it doesn't take a rocket scientist.
I paid 45 for a stepped wheel at autovalue on Macleod and Heritage.
