1193 is a very low US production # (the only one I could find) , and obviously collectible, but shit....$50,000+?

no i am not that total die hard its just 1992 models have more newer options then the other years. they dont look like an 80's car at all.

but yeah he wanted actually almost 60k what an idiot and he was serious, you will see parked near earls on 4 st street.

go on supraforums, everyone wants one.

cool, my 1992 is number 126. i had to import it from the u.s. 8 years ago. its better that did knowing everyone in calgary wanted 12+ for a 89

Well even right now you cant get a mint 87 for under 5000

what i like about the 1992 is its rare, its has a lot of newer stuff, its more smoother (not sure why) then any 1990, 87 i driven, no rattles even though it has about 180,000 MILES

but yeah you can get them in black interior, seat heaters, etc etc. its a cool car but not worth 50k. maybe half if it was showroom miles.

Ever thought of importing it from Japan? The 92 models will soon become legal (well, in several months).

PM me if you'd like to import.

No offense, but even 30K is way too much. This is MKIV territory. The one that it always parked by Earls is in great shape. But it is definitely not the most coveted MKIII. Iwould have to say that is a 92T 5sp, black exterior with a shadow grey leather interior. BTW, is the teal one on 4th automatic? It is a nice car, but like I said, not worth even 20K, in my opinion of course. Thanks.

Still .. no body thinks this is a joke?

Want $60K for a 92 supra? even $30K .. must be a joke ..

I am sure if someone is going to spend $30K for one, any car broker can help to to get one .. and keep $20K in pocket ..

For $30K you can get a much nicer 94 model from US ..

A 92 supra IIRC is identical to a 91 supra.

They went through a major style change in 89, then in 91, all they did was change the wheels to the newer 5-spoke design, put 6.5" speakers in the front doors, and maybe had some different options here and there.

Honestly, I don't think you would gain anything from getting a 92 that an 89+ wont have, other then being able to say it's "rarer" as they stopped producing them half way though the year.

If you seriously want to spend 30k on a car like that, you can have my 91 for 15k :nut: . Twin turbo, full Recaro interior, JDM tyte :) haha.

Supras do tend to sell for above book value here in Calgary though, I don't know why. Granted, MKIV supras sell for WAAAY above value everywhere, but even MKIIIs are getting expensive here in Alberta.

Here are the differences (exterior wise)

86.5-88 Toyota Supra, N/A only way to tell if it's Turbo is from the spoiler and of course the "turbo emblem"

CelicaST-162

89-92

again, turbos had the spoiler, and what annoying rob said.

89+ had redesigned front bumper, progressive power steering, redesigned tailights, and a new 3 piece spoiler as opposed to the 1 piece from the 87-88 (turbo).

Actually, some dealers offered the spoiler on all n/a's. A fried of mone picked up an 86.5 with a factory made spoiler, but installed at the dealership.

That's true, but usually though thats how you tell them apart from the other.

Pfff there were less 1993 Toyota Alltracs Produced and you don't see them going for $55K..

Perhaps he was asking $55K because...he was not interested in selling it?

why go threw all the trouble just for a 1992. seems silly to me. 89+ would do just fine.
