Was wondering how much i should be looking to spend on a BMW 325 or 330 CI. Im looking for a 2002 or 2003 so it may possibly still have some warrenty left. Any idea would be appreciated.

I see online that 2003 325 CI's are going for between 32-36 is that an inflated range? or is that the price i should be expecting to pay?

Thank You

I just bought mine not too long ago. Awesome car, and the price you suggested is about right, for a 325ci. A 330ci will run you more than that if you want a 2003.

I've got a buddy selling a 2004 330ci if u are interested. shoot me a pm if u want to know more about it.
I think he's wants $44k for it, which is a good price.

U could get a 2001 330ci loaded with the M package with around the same km's for that price.

Up to you i guess, do u want the bigger engine?

Go for the 330ci over the 325 if you can find one. The difference is worth it.

Get a 330Ci if you can. worth the extra cash for all model years.

Any M package before 2004 will only have the mtech bumpers and sport suspension. The pre-face lift cars look a little different.

The M package for 2004-2005 (ZHP) comes with 10 extra horses and a different final drive. The cams and exhaust are different and the car sits lower as it has sports suspension II.

2004-2005 also have the LED tails, signals and side markers. The Premum package also comes with adaptive headlights. They are really cool. Getting in the STi after getting out of the BMW takes some getting used to as the headlights don't swivel.

If you want to save some money, make sure you buy privately. The BMW dealers in Calgary are brutal with pricing, PLUS you pay GST.

If it is an option for you, I would not limit my search to Alberta. It is the most expensive place to buy a car in Canada. I would look in Ontario. With only spending 3-4 years there, the car is not going to have any problems with rust, especially the way the Germans galvanize both sides of the steel, etc. The only problem you may have with that is you must rely on pictures of the car only and cannot see it live without flying down there.

Also, I agree with everyone else in that the 330 is worth every penny more than the 325's. I would buy a 2001 or so with the M package instead of a 2003-2004 325.

Or you could buy an S4, chip it, and blow all those cars out of the water with cash to spare and AWD :D

Yeah as soon as an S4 goes up for sale, it's gone right away unless it is outrageously priced or beat up. Most of them I think are 6spds, but there are never many for sale.

I saw that yesterday. Very good deal. With the new coupes coming out, going to drive down the E46 prices a lot. Good for buyers, bad for sellers.
