Sept/Oct MR2 Meet thread

Okay boys. The last meet we had was pretty good, but we all know that we can do better. So check your calenders and lets try this again. We need to aim for a near %100 turn out.

What: Final MR2 meet this year
When: Oct 1st or Oct 8th 2006
Where: Sait Parking lot P1 ( right off of 10th street nw)
Time: between 7 and 8 followed by a cruise if anyone is up for it.

We got some great shots of the cars with downtown in the background last time but it would be that much sweeter to get some sunset shots. Hopefully this time around we can get some of the senior owners out.

It has an amazing view of the city and looks great at night, i'll get some night shots later.

No these are sunday dates, however seeing as the meet is a month away, we could probably change it to a saturday night thing if your driving up for it.

Nah you don't have to rearrange anything just to meet my schedule. I don't wanna be a burden. I'm not 100% sure I can come but I'd really like to make this meet before the year is over.

I'll try to make it, but **good luck** getting daylight/sunset pics of cars when the meeting time is set for 7 or 8. The sun will be pretty much gone by then considering it's October. I suppose this time I'll expect to take night pics and bring a real tripod vs. that dinky 2 inch thing that can't even hold up my cam... :D

Well as the date approches, we will see about the whole sunset thing. If anybody wants to meet early that works for me. For those who don't think they can fit dinner into there day before the meet, well we cruise to a pub (assuming all those attending are over the legal age) because after all it is wing night at most places.

The main thing is to get all the mr2s out.

And what is up with the USDM/CDM cars?? A few years ago, when I was at a meet, we had about 5-6 cars, all USDM (of course), but this last week, only 2 USDM cars!! Me and Bokchoy. C'mon guys!

As for time of meet, whatever time to accommodate the maximum number of ppl would be best.

As well, again, please do not show off your exhaust or whatever else you have on your car. Last meet was great, except for the Civic that was gunning it up the ramp at the parking lot... Not cool (I think that was the only dude I didn't meet). We'll have to ban Hondas if that happens again..! :D

Yeah, I was waiting to have the new paint and carputer in before I actually came out to a meet, but the carputer is a long story and the paint wil have to wait until next year, so I'm coming out to this one whenever it is. :thumbsup:

Good and Bad news guys.

First the bad.

Won't be at the meet with the MR2. Tires were slashed over the weekend by my sisters punkass friend......fuckin 14 year old kids. time for a beating is all i can say

Good news:

I'll be there still but in the IS instead. My poor MR :(

^^ Too bad, but at least you're still coming out with something sweet anyways. but what i think is that we should maybe move it a little bit earlier in the day, like 2pm. i know a bunch of us have thanksgiving shit to go to, so this way we go out for a few good hours, that way everyone can make it.
