i have a piece of my body kit in my hand.......lastnight i drove to brooks and went into Mc.D and WAAM i thought i hit the exhaust on a manhole or raised drain, i just found 2 min ago that there is a gash about 3 inch's long ripped right into the bottem on the skirt. anyway i can fix it? it looks/feels like its going to flake off.

You'll need to use Fiberglass Resin. Sand and then Repaint. (A little simplistic in explanation)

well is it going to fall apart? looks like fiberglass will keep comming apart more and more.

i need to get some other spots fixed.....guess its going to just cost more and more.(i take it it is expensive to do what your talking about?)

and where would you guys recomend for this also?

dip some fiberglass into resin and stick it behind the crack to hold it together then bondo in the crack (use the good stuff)..then sand paint etc

Well if its any part on your kit its not fiberglass unless its part of any of the moulded parts, the kit is made of urethane

Go to somewhere thats good with fiberglass, check around and also ask around, quite a few shops are good at it, also few will want to touch something like that

If you can get some resin and glass mat it shouldn't be too hard to repair. Hard part will be making the repair unnoticable.
