It is $200 plus tax. You get 2 plates, but there is about a 6 week wait for them to be made.

Newfie isn't an ethnic slur though for the record. Being a Newfoundlander is not being of a differnent ethnic group. ;)

It's probably going on the car of someone from newfoundland, so I don't see it being a big deal.

It's not a racial slur, but could be interpreted as a derogatory phrase by some.

I never even knew that was an ethnic slur/derogatory word even before this. Nor, have i ever heard the word used other than describing someone from NFLD (in a good way).

So i don't see why it was "Blacklisted" in the first place.

I had the licence plate "SLANTED" in Manitoba.

But I was driving a 64 Valiant with a Slant 6 225cu engine.
