1993 Ford Probe GT
248xxxKM's on body
Engine swapped 7000km ago
Mazda KLZE 2.5L V6 DOHC 24-valve Bought from JDM Source swapped June 9th
I did a compression test on the motor: 180psi across all 6 cyclinders, one was a little lower around 174.
Timing belt and water pump done when engine was swapped
Clutch was swapped from older motor (had 4k and was installed at dealership)
5 Speed trans came on KLZE (apparently the 5speed ZE's are rare)
Redline Transmission fluid
9.5mm Iridium spark wires
NGK Iridium plugs
Cold Air Intake
Stock 16" alloy rims 225/50R16
Hankook H101 tires on rear
BRAND NEW Toyo Proxes 4 on front
Alignment done recently
Front Brake calipers and rotors recently replace
Brake pads all the way around recently changed (ceramics up front)
Alpine Alarm System
Interior is in very good condition.
5% tint on rear windows. Passenger is tinted to 35% none on driver. I will take tint out if requested.
Air conditioning was never recharged after motor swap although I did have a quote at $239.
Has manual sunroof.

Car does need some body work (dent running along passenger to rear quarter panel)
Paint chipping off front bumper, other then that it's good. No other rust other then in the dent.

Alpine CDA-9827 Head Unit
4 channel - Nakimichi PA-504 power fronts and rears (72Wx4 RMS)
6.5" Rockford Fosgate RFP-1406 (needs to be replaced)
6x8 Alpine STS-6826
3x Stinger Dream Series interconnects
Stinger Expert 4ga wiring from battery to hatch
Stinger Power Dist. Block.
This car is ready for a good set of front speakers and comes with the wiring to put an amp for a sub in. If you have and amp/sub and need help installing I could help you out.

Car is quick in my opinion. Definately a fun ride. The KLZE motor is supposed to make 200HP stock with a 10:1 compression ratio. If anyone is curious, the big differences between the KLZE and the stock motor are: Heads, Flat Top Pistons, More Agressive Cams, and Square Runners in the Intake manifold.

Car is currently located on the UofA Campus.
Will get pictures soon as it stops raining or I find a digital camera.
Asking $5750 and I am reasonably firm on that. Also will consider trades.

Ok a few things before you start eating all my bandwidth. The inside of the car is really dirty right now (rocks on the carpet, dash needs to be wiped down) I normally keep it ALOT cleaner, but I moved and I don't have a vacuum or anything to clean it with yet.
That will all be taken car of probably by the end of the week.
Pictures show all the bodywork that needs doing. This is how I bought the car, so I have no idea what/how it all happened.
Yes the passenger window is tinted and the drivers is not.
The passenger mirror is a different color (most people don't notice)

I may be getting the bodywork done, if I do the price will go up accordingly.

And enjoy.

Then swap the engine from your MX-3 into this and resell it.

I am definately considering trades, hopefully something either Turbo'd and/or RWD. Hopefully something that doesn't need a stupid amount of work because I don't have tools or a garage in edmonton.

You live in Airdrie? I do just need to change my profile. Wouldn't mind seeing it. But no funds to just buy the car and transplant the engine into mine.

A bit of an update, I put new speakers in up front and the car comes with an extra ECU with Probinators EPROM installed (5-7 HP gain to the wheels) The ECU it is in though is dead, so I would find a 94-96 ecu and change it over.

The power steering pump is going in the car, will be changed after midterms. (2 weeks) Car is still completely drivable though if anyone wants to have a look
