Shaw HD-PVR Help

I am taking a shot in the dark hoping one of the other Shaw HD-PVR users might be able to help me.

My DCT6416 has worked well for just about a week and a half now, but yesterday the red recording light on the front of the box started lighting up everytime I turn the box off.

I have tried unplugging the box and I have no program scheduled to be recorded.

Anyone else run into this?

it may not be the record light but a message light. try going into your home menu and checking your messages.

I thought of that too, but there are no messages, and the red light for that is on the left side and recording light is on the right.

is it actually recording anything? or is the light just on?

Nope, when the box is on the light is off, when I turn the box off it comes on.

No one else experienced this? Maybe I'll trade it in for a new one

maybe the wiring got messed and switced or sumthing?:dunno:

Fixed it, it was the RF Input setting.

Don't ask me what that means, but when you turn it off it works.
