Sort of. The two companies merged and go by Daimler Chrysler. Its been a few years now I believe.

The DC merger was supposed to be one of 'equals' but realistically daimler was the (much) larger company. Now you have germans at the head of almost every chrysler department and yet there's no americans at the heads of any benz departments. So no, it wasn't a merger, it was a disguised buy out.

a buddy of mine bought a 1995 lada for 250 bucks...damn thing still looks new and runs great..shame on the resale value though:rofl: :rofl:
