They were here on the 19th, i spoke with walmart and costco, they both put stock out, and sold out of them on the 19th.

Word is that Toys r us is hording them until saturday because they have them advertised in the flyer, so i'll be knockin on the door of thier sunridge location at 9:29 saturday morning :P

10 years ago, nobody in Canada knew about Tickle Me Elmo when it first came out (thank you US TV!) but we didn't get the first batch until a month or 2 after US release. I got lucky and got 1 before the hype, and literally a week later, they were all gone and selling for $300 haha.

This elmo looks frickin' cool, I want one just to fuck around with when I'm baked haha.

My sister and I actually picked up 3 from the same TRU Market Mall location on the eve of the 19th and 2 from the Zellers on the other end of the mall. We could have cleaned them all out, but I felt guilty about taking all of them. :angel:

I dunno why ppl are hoarding them. They're fetching for maybe $20 more on ebay here and there, and not all of them are selling. Plus, it's friggin' 3 months till christmas there will be tons of inventory!

Everyone is being retarded putting em on ebay n shite, this time around stores will be smarter and so will the manufacture.. they will produce massive amounts and import massive amounts in all the stores, so they dont have what happened last time. its common sense, learning from their previouse mistakes, infact they will probably over produce, leaving tons still on the shelves even before christmas day.

we ran out in the elmos in the first 10 minutes, we had 30 of em
and we ran out of 36 rainchecks in the next 10 minutes

the next batch wont come till mid october

it gets kinda old after a while though. some people at work act like its the end of the world when they dont get one.

Was at Wal-mart today, apparently they have 14 in stock (13 now, I just bought one). If anyone wants one, let me know and I will pick them up and ship them off to you.

I was going to keep mine for myself, but I decided to be nice, and give it to my little brother for his 16th Birthday. He has the origional one too, in working order, and this one is just a great addition to his collection. I will get another one i'm sure, but I can't say when or how, lol.
