View Full Version : 20 lbs in 1.5 months??

k here's the story, i used to weigh in at like 152 lbs before summer, then my labour job sweat me down to like 140-145, then the last month of summer i sprained my thumb and got pretty sick and stayed out of the gym for pretty much all of august, weighed in at like 135 lbs a few days ago

so i'm asking is it possible for me to get back up to the 155 range by my birthday (first week of november)? am i right in assuming that it should be easier to reattain a body weight than to gain to a weight the body has never experienced?

Creatine, weightgainer, heavy eating and heavy training without cardio. It can cr done I wasn't overly regimented and I out on about 14 pounds in 2 months.

20lbs is about 70,000 Calories above your daily requirements. That's an additional 1147.54 calories/day (Over 61 days).

And of course, since you'll most likely be attempting weightlifting during this period, you have to take into account all the calories burned by this as well.


I'd be willing to bet that your body type is that which will have a very hard time gaining weight (ectomorph). I would say that if you gained 20lbs in 2 months it would be a miracle (Unless it's all fat that is).

I strongly recommend 'Ultimate Nutrition Muscle Juice' from Popeye's to help you gain the weight and muscle mass your looking for. But in reality theres no way you can do it that fast. I would say 3 months is more realistic, if your going to the gym like crazy and eating lots!!

i think it can be done but it wont be all muscle

i did 15 in 2 months, and ye, i used muscle juice. and ye, it was not pretty, until your body gets used to the added calorie intake, plus the stress you put on your body while workin out it's pretty much hell. but i have to admit, i never felt more healthy than i did when i got through it. everyone at my work asked if i went on roids. my parents too. it does take a lot of money tho, cuz if you take your muscle juice when youre supposed to, you'll be out within 1.5-2 weeks. then you gotta eat the right foods. my day consisted of:

6:00am - wake up take nitrix

6:45-7am - drink muscle juice

9:00am - rolled oats, 2 slices of brown toast with peanut butter and jam.

11:00am - nitrix

noon - i ate pretty much whatever was at my cafeteria, which was mostly either stir fry w/ chicken, chicken burger, chicken fingers, or chicken caesar wrap...plus with caesar salad.

3:00pm - take my creatine

3:45-4:00pm workout (usually around 45mins-1hr 15 mins)

4:45-5:30 (15mins after workout) - muscle juice

7:30-8:00 - pasta w/ caesar salad. with my pasta, ot only did i put lean ground beef, but i'd put 4 chicken breasts in with it. also, this would last me two days. or 2 big servings.

10:00 (before i go to bed) - muscle juice

this is what i did once i got used to takin muscle juice, when i first started i was pretty much still full to eat 2 hours after taking muscle juice. and i admit, there were times when i only took muscle juice twice in the day. i started off at 120 and i actually did hit 140 but i dont count those 5 lbs since i didnt actually keep that weight too long (2 days), then i lost 5lbs since i had ran out of muscle juice and money to eat haha.

I take 4 scoops after a work out, and 2-3 scopps before a work out if I'm at home. With milk, 4 scoops has 1272 calories and 71g of protien !

you can't be serious, if your bowels can handle that kind of ammunition i applaud you :eek:

i just wanted to be 155 by my birthday just as a goal, i know its far-fetched, but if i figure i aim high you're bound to get somewhere

I think its better to spread out the protien, there's probably a limit to howmuch nutrition a person can absorb from one meal.

I'm ecto (5'10", 139lbs) and after 3 months I haven't seen any increase in body fat. On the other hand, my friend gained 10lbs (of fat) in 2 weeks (taking a total of 12 scoops per day). So I think your goal is possible, but do you really want 20lbs more fat?

the body can only absorb about 50 grams of protein in one sitting, anything more then that is a waste and becomes a serious abuse of your metabolism.

ii gained 20 lbs in 4 weeks, just get musclejuice protine, with milkl 1300 cals and 77g protine per serviing, 3 of those a day and good eating, you will go up fast, work out to if you dont allready.


Max protine comsumtion depends on the size, age and sex of the person, Its closer to 70 grams where it no longer is usefull.

I do 2-3 times a day, 4-5 days aweek, i gained 40lbs of mostly muscle in 1.5 years combined with working out hard.

Im on Strawberry Mamoth 2500 right now, I think it tastes the best for the stuff Iv'e been on Muscle Juice and Whey Max. I have noticed big inprovents too, but im also using "Size On."
Right now im 5"6' 150lbs and I work out at home.
