The Saab 9-2:
- Manufactured by Subaru in Japan
- Only for North America
- Only available in 5-door wagon config
- uses 2.5L flat-four and the 2.0L turbo flat-four from the WRX
- AWD
- Will debut at LA and Detriot AutoShows in January
- Exterior is redone by Saab...interior done by Subaru

Hmm... interior done by Subie? Man I hope it isn't too plasticy this time around. The current Saab interiors are quite nice.

not bad looking wagon. i wonder how this vehicle will be priced compared to the 2.5RS/WRX

It's supposed to be the "cheap" saab, so I can't see it being really expensive, certainly less than the 9-3 to start.

Despite its posting on the 1st of april originally, there has been no retraction issued, and it remains posted on Saab Global's website. http://www.saab.com/main/GLOBAL/en/saab_9-2.xml

Looks pretty cool to me...but when I read the interior is to be done by Subaru, that kinda scares me (especially if it's got a Saab nameplate on it). :rofl:

Looks sort of blech. Like the windscreen is as angeled backwards as some supercar, and a higher hood than the impreza despite the flat boxer. Ah well, we shall see.

Stupid....just stupid...A nice mid range quality car with a Subaru interior?? Designers and Engineers should be shot....

I don't know what everyones problem is, the interiors in the higher end outbacks are actually quite nice :dunno: Just because the interior in the imperza isn't the greatest thing going doesn't mean every subaru interior sucks.
