Hey guys, i got a hp e-vectra mini pc which i was planning to use for my car pc. Its the perfect pc for a car pc, since its so small. Its a Celeron 950mhz, 128mb ram. It does not include a hard drive. Has all onboard stuff, video/network/sound/2 usb ports

Its literally the perfect fit for a car pc. Looking to get $120 for this computer. Only thing i will include with this is a power supply.

Thanx

no no, its not actually a car pc, but i meant its a perfect use to use for a car pc. you can use a inverter for a laptop which will work fine. 128mb ram is included. not sure how many slots are open, 128 should be plenty for a car pc, you wont be using that much process or ram for use in car pc. only has a vga out, so you would need a car lcd with a vga input. If i had the time i would keep this pc for sure, but currently i dont have the time and i might be selling my car so theres no need for this computer anymore. e-vectra's are pretty hard to find for sale so i think its a great deal. I can check if there are any more free ram slots on the board or not.

nope sorry, this computer is not able since there are no agp or pci slots. Not really meant for upgrading since its so small. Use vga to rca adapter is required. But i recommend for carputer, to use the vga output and get a lcd with a vga input for most clear resolution.

You should note that it won't turn on with the vehicle, you'll have to hit the power button everytime to turn it on or off. I hope this post doesn't get deleted, it's important for the buyer.
