So where are the Benz drivers taking their rides to for repairs? I've done a search but turned up nothing. Is it pretty much the same as BMW?

Sheni's Auto Trend.

That's it? That's where ALL you benz driving ballas take their cars?

Dude, relax. It's only been 2 hours.

Doesn't your warranty get voided if you go anywhere other than the dealer?

2 hrs and 2 days, you mean.

I'm thinking older, used cars. *cough*JDM*cough*.

Oops. My bad. haha. I dont know anyone who specializes in MB, but I think most mechanics should be able to do the basics.

Alpine Autowerks lists benz as one of the german cars it specializes in. I have no experience with them though, hopefully others can offer more insight.

lol, the benz "ballas" take it to the dealership.

I Hardly consider an older JDM Benz to be "balla"

Any preference for which dealer? I did some searching and it looks like Lone Star has a bit of a better record than Hyatt.

I personally feel Lone Star has too much of an "ego". Then again most of the people I've dealt with at Hyatt don't know any better... although they're more friendly.

Soooo... I bring it to my shop (but I'm an exception). Otherwise I'd take it down to Hyatt.
It really depends on the car and what needs to be done. Perhaps more info on your ride would be nice.

Heh, my ride ain't here yet. It could be at the bottom of the ocean right now for all I know. :D Just thought I'd guage the board's feelings about where to take it for the repairs and shit it will need, see if there were any horror stories about any particular shop or dealer.

Thanks for the responses so far, I wish I were balla enough to buy a new AMG here.

For dealer work - Hyatt..I hate Lone Star with a passion...snobby 5$/hour fucks.

As for indie shops, Marc @ Alpine or Sheni @ Auto Trend...I've had work done by both...top notch.

That's it. Stay away from WS or Nuremburgring.

Well, hopefully mine won't be one of them. What would I do with my rice spoiler and hoodscoop then?

Well, not really, but I hope it isn't overpriced. Thanks for the tips. :)
