I signed up for it when I moved in to my new place.....It's the enhancd service....(faster then regular supposedly)

Got the Computer.....Happy with that. The service in Airdrie is Not that great...Very inconsistent.

On telus's speed test site....I was getting 368-380 MB per second for about a day....then bam. It cut in and out....and not it's stable.

Stability returned @ 250 per second witch is like the regular service...(no packet loss)

Computer works good...at least!:)

I bitched at Shaw 3 times and finally got put on one of the new nodes which no one else was on. Got great speeds and still get great speeds. haven't dropped since.

Another positive is the new wireless gateway you get....run up to 5 wireless computers off it!!

how about i get shaw extreme or even just regular shaw and spend the money i saved (when comparing bandwidth between the two isp's) on a computer of my choice

I got that for a day...then it cut out....I just realized I made a little typo LOL. That was ment to be KB....not MB

I called and told them about my problem.....they did some adjusting and now i'm at a consistant 320-345 KB

im on shaw extreme and get speeds over 1000kb/s using limewire and sometimes with some good torrents it can get up there too

Yea with shaw extreme I can download at abit over 1100k/sec when its not busy. When its busy I get maybe between 4-600k/sec or so, sometimes less. W/ the student plan and xtreme its really cheap, but for those speeds, I think that their regular price is good too.
