I'm going to be picking up my new vehicle this week, so I'm now looking to sell my current daily driver..
1995 BMW 320i, 2.0L 6cyl, 5 speed
213,xxx Km's
Black exterior, Grey cloth interior
keyless entry
2 sets of rims/tires - 17" w/ all seasons, stock 15" w/winters
the car is in good mechanical shape.. items replaced in the last few months have been:
serpentine belt + tensioner / AC Belt
Valve cover gasket
Fuel pump
rear shocks/springs
sparkplugs
Fuel filter
the good:
Get's great gas mileage for a 6cyl .. I routinely get 575kms per tank (aprox 55L fill) all city driving
A/C still blows cold
Plenty of clutch life left
Previous owner had all the rotors replaced and bearings serviced when he had the brakes done... he also had the oil pan gasket replaced.. this was done aprox 35,000kms ago (paperwork is avail)
Always reliable, has never given me any running problems.. except when the fuel pump died a few months ago
Great fun to drive, handles very well...
The bad:
Drivers side heated seat does not work.. common problem - passenger side works though
Airbag light stays on for 2 mins then goes out ... I had disconnected a few wires under the drivers seat when diagnosing the heated seat problem .. reconnected everything back up and the airbag light came on.. I was told by a BMW tech that this is a common thing to happen when you remove the seats .. the light just needs to be reset but requires the BMW reset tool.. which I havn't bothered purchasing or bringing the car in to have reset..
I purchased the all season tires last year, however the rear tires are pretty well worn.. the front tire still have plenty of wear left.. I havn't rotated the tires yet..
Some dings and scratches on the body.. if you are lookign for an absolutely mint vehicle, this is not it..
Windshield has a few chips
Hmm.. that's about everything that I can think of that need attention.. It's a great running reliable vehicle and a pleasure to drive.. But with the arrival of the new car, me and the wife will have 4 vehicles .. no need for this one anylonger...
As for asking price, I'll start at $5500 o.b.o
