being that its a 2g car i am going to say it is crankwalk becuase that is the most comin, if not that it could be the timing belt that snaped and becuase these cars have an interferince(sp) engine the valves smash the pistons all to shit when this happens. still a great deal on a car though you can buy a six bolt motor from jdm source and swap out the 7 bolt throw some mods at it and have a nice 300 hp street car to drive to work:thumbsup:

you have no idea what you are talking about

this is not a 4G63 car at all, it is not a turbo, it is a 420A engine car. not crankwalk 100% for damn sure. you cannot swap a 4G63 into this car, but you can swap an SRT-4 motor into it ;)

Hey B_T an SRT-4 engine swap? can you get me more info on this?

you get the 2.4 liter long block out of any of the "cloud cars" ... chrysler cirrus, stratus, sebring etc, get SRT-4 rods and pistons ($130 a cylinder from Dodge), use the cylinder head off the engine you have, put em together... get a passenger side motor mount and notch the oil pan to clear the downpipe and bam.

2.4 liter SRT-4 talon.

theres a few different options you have for different accessory belt routing, oil pans, stuff like that, but they are all OEM chrysler parts you can either get factory direct or from a junkyard. 2.4 liter parts also cost a lot less then ones for the 2.0 liter. Its best to try and find a low mileage block because the OEM rods and pistons are only available in standard bore. the bottom end is super strong, 400whp+ is no problem :)

for further upgrades, the PT Cruiser Turbo automatic transmission is a fairly easy bolt in replacement and can withstand 400hp. good if you want to keep a daily driver and be turbo at the same time.

if I do buy your car, this is what I would be doing to it :D I ran out of time this weekend but next weekend is a long weekend so hopefully I'll be able to come look at it then.
