Please, for the love of god...don't let Paul Walker be in the movie! I grew up watching the original, have it as my ring tone too...hope the producers don't fuck up this classic too!!

old news... the weinsteins bought the rights to it a while ago. David hasselhoff has said that he's starring in it and it's coming out in 2008.

They only do movies with built-in audience for quick $$$. That's why every comic book heros and best selling books are going on the silver screen.

OMG!!! I'm so going to see this movie even if it blows chunks. That's a KOENIGSEGG!!!!!!! I'm going to see it just for that, if it ends up not being a Koenisegg then screw this movie. You guys know they'll mess it up, only natural for Hollywooders, but it will have a Koenigsegg :D YAY!

Last I heard, Hasselhoff won't be in the movie. But he's trying to get in on the project though.
