Its pretty low, at LEAST a 2inch drop with a oem lip on it.http://www.silentrage.ca/images/000_0686.jpg

you'll be fine.
Just take the oem kit off.

I'm pretty sure the oem kit is half screwed half stuck on there with some sort of adhesive. would I need to take the whole kit off or just the front lip?

you look like you have more than enough room to winter drive that. dont waste your money or time on putting springs in for winter and then swapping back out in spring.

My BMW is lower than that. It gets driven all winter.

Rather than putting OEM springs back in, get coil overs so you adjust them yourself.

Yea not a fan of coilovers due to the harsher ride, unless I go with a true coilover set up but not into spending that much. I'll slap on winters and see how it goes from there.

You should be fine. I had a WW kit and B&G springs on my lude and got around without any problems.

If you're careful, you won't need to do anything to your car. That ride height is fine - I drove year round in my Prelude and it was lower than that.

Reinstalling stock suspension is the biggest pain in the ass EVER. I would gladly pay someone $300 to do it for me.

You have compress the spring to put the strut/spring assembly back together. Plus if you didn't mark where the studs are supposed to be relative to the strut, you'll have a hell of a time lining it up. That's all assuming that your LCA bolts holding your strut fork hasn't seized in its bushing.

If you decide to do it on your own, make sure you undo the upper ball joint for the rear - that'll give you enough room to get the old stock spring/strut assembly back in.

Good buy - I saw that car for sale in Edmonton. :)

yeah i agree.. u should be ok
plus uninstalling and reinstalling is expensive!!!!
plus u have to get it alligned each time... so just take off your lip would be the best choice
you should be ok with the lip in my o pinion... just get some 3m

I drove my car all last year. Mine's lowered 1.5" with a body kit. I have about 4 inches of clearance and I was fine. Calgary is lucky that we don't get a lot of accumulation. ( Not compared to the east coast at least - I had to store mine there for 4 months of the year. ) And even if we do get a heavy snowfall, sit it out for a day and wait for the roads to clear if it's really bad, you'll be fine.

When you swap out your suspension, you should get an alignment too. Another reason not to do it along with the advice posted previously.
