Supra's are allot easier to get crazy horse power numbers.

Also once the 335i is out everywhere in calgary, your M3 is only .3 seconds faster. So watch for the M3's to go down, Especially when the V8 comes out.

For me, the performance of both cars are great, so that's not really a factor for me. What makes me want the M3 more, is the luxury & technology in the car. Overpriced options like alcantara headliner, stock navigation, stock xenon lights, make me weak.

why would I recommend the new RS4? It is way too much money... the older ones are less, and you get can get older S4s (twin turbo AWD and very easily upgraded) for $25-35k

As much as i LOVE the supra, it just seems more of a toy than the M3. M3 just says "mature" a bit more than the supra, but thats just my opinion

I knew you guy's would take that comment and twisted. As you get older your preference changes. I use to love the Supra, but as i got older my taste changed towards BMW,AUDI,MB. Everyone is different. Maybe when i am in my 50's i will wan't a Mustang like i had when i was a teenager. It means nothing less nothing more.

haha pretty general comment man, Im getting old now but would still want a supra over a 3. And then theyre Hulkamania, hes like 60 and hes all about the Supra. its just personal preference. I guess you didn't catch on the fact that I like my cars fully loaded from the factory. The factory integration of everything takes the hassle of trying to retrofit it, and doesn't make it look outta place. But then again, I appreciate cars differently from you.

from when i had my chrysler 300 and with stock navi systems the gps sucks in canada, even worse in alberta, alpine or pioneer had way better gps tracks.

i must agree man factory options kick ass, but also on the hids on a chrysler 300, stock they were nice, but aftermarket there brighter and nicer looking, its just a personal thing i guess.

I know for a fact that for my next car its going to be a supra hands down.

well, i raced a couple with my mopar stage3 and was really excited because i trully believed the M3 is an amazing car, that is really really quick... almost all the srt guys laughed, and htey said they've been spanking M3s even with nothing more than an exhaust upgrade :dunno: that's one of the things that really put it in perspective, how freakin fast srts are.... i mean, stage3s on high octane squeek out wins agains stock Z06s and that car is properly quick!

pretty sure they were joking, no way a stock or modded srt goes 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, that's faster than a 911 turbo, let alone 11.7s stock in the quarter mile...

that being said, we've had a 13.8s quarter mile STOCK in alberta, so adjusting for sealevel i'd say that's neck in neck with what the M3s are running when tested by magazines, especially when you add in small mods like wastegate and exhaust...

from what i hear, off the line the srt simply destroys the M3 because of the faster 0-60, but from a roll it's A LOT closer because of the M3s great powerband

Well since we are keeping on topic here...

The 95 Supra (SRT4) stock will probably be a drivers race with the M3. When you modify the Supra (SRT4) and the M3 i'm sure it remains a drivers race. Look at the times Z_Fan and Riceeater and getting with their 1995 Supras (SRT4).
