I think my 6 is officially dying and I'm thinkin about changing cars...I was plannin on buying a used car cause i hate moding newer cars...i end up chucking all the parts that have never been used and it seems like such a waste

so heres my list on potential buys: give me your opinions:

:D Eagle Talon TSI: 95 and up..factory turbo...easy tuning and easy results...I can put a BOV on!! not too common (a modded one) lots of parts!!

-_- Mercury Cougar 99 and up : it has pretty much the same engine as our 6!!! a newer version...same hp...as for individuality...no one in my city has modded this car(but that might tell me somethign)...sweet kit by kamanari...V6 engine!!!

and i can't lose my mazda loyalty soo quickly sooo

B) Miata 1st gen: roadster, a mazda, wide exceptance of aftermarket parts, veilside kit looks good..needs small wheels to fill in fender gap(16's) ...con a bitch for insurance

:P Protege: newest versions...the aftrmarket is widely making parts for this car...might not be fast but cheap...its a mazda...cheap on gas...

 or i can spend like 2g's 2wards my current 6 and do some massive maintenance on the chassis and eng...is it worth it...?? i have never owned a v4 car...is it good on gas...like how much...and i don't want crap for power...so i gotta ask how do mods respond to v4's??

i have around 30 g's to work with... and i've been talking to my distributors from vancity ... so all the parts are good to go...
haha since i can't make money off sellign parts to peops might as well use it to my own benefit.. ^_^

any input is good...30 g's ...
i appreciate the feedback

Forget the cougar. Sorry... but I need my rear wheels to be pushing.

Given those options, I'd go with the Talon Tsi AWD. The miata is a close second though.

You could potentially have a lot of money to do mods with if you can get a good deal on one of these cars.

Are you pretty firm on your choice of cars?

For 30g's, i'd consider something much different.

Go with the talon!!!
You can make them mad fast and a used one will be cheap and you will have lots of $$$ to throw into it!!
Good luck

with 30g's you could make one sweet Protege or Protege 5! Check out DG Motorsports (http://www.dgmotorsports.com), tonnes of C/F goodness for the Protege :D

yeah tats teh type of thing i'm looking for in a car...
i mean i can buy a new civic or a rsx or somethign lke that but then again after that i won't have the cash left over to play around with parts ...
i could buy a 90's beemer or somethign and play with them..but then again i want to customize everythign.. and since i do have the resource 2 my distributor it seems kinda of a waste not to use this chance...
hondas r great!! but than a lot of people seem 2 be modding them, and a fully modded honda can be seen around cal'
i mean not putting down hondas..but i'm tryin to go a different route...i choose those cars because i see potential in all of them...buying theses cars used gives me plenty of cash leftover 4 turbos, interior exterior, labour, alarm(haha because of the recent break ins in cal) i live in the nw so i gotta watch out

i mean i can buy a new wrx if i wanted to or a c230 coupe or a new 320 or somethign but than again no money leftover for anything else
thanx 4 the feedback so far..keep them coming:thumbsup:

i used to be in love with talons... i was looking into getting one but heard about an issue with the crank bearing on the turbo motors... do a search for crankwalk... just to make sure you are informed

Of the choices that you stated I would look at the Talon.. Great car, lots of mods available and it's a car designed to go fast unlike the protege.

I would also consider adding a nissan 240 to your list of potential cars...

For 30 G's you could get a Mercedes 500E....only 1500 in NA during their 1992-1994 run....porsche/mercedes joint venture....5.0L V8 322HP 0-60 in 6 sec...Four door PIMP ASS sedan...no need to mod it at all....

Ya, its a Flat 4. Same as a Boxter which is named after its engine.
