custom intake

i made a custom intake out of dryed hose :dunno:(5in) and brang it under my car.......before my intake i toped out at 180 then with my intake i toped out at 200 but with my head lights down and same road......is this the intake or did my car just decide to snap:werd:

you made a home made ram air I assume. It could be your homemade ram air, but I dunno. I've made the same thing on my teg and I noticed a difference when I put it on, it wasn't much but for $5 you can't complain eh

Top speed has nothing 2 do with Horse power. Top Speed is Gearing....it might be that your headlights were down becuase of the aerodymanic drag????

so when i car is in last gear at 3000 rpms and it wont move anymore, its not horsepower its gearing, :rolleyes:

the gearing matters if its redlining in last gear, otherwise it needs more power to hit that redline and achieve a higher speed right?
