So, i just drove past a pretty serious looking accident near bow and 45th with a BMW Z4, and i was checking city beat for some info (none yet) but i came accross this gem

What the snap? I mean, that Sobeys is where we get our groceries, and it's tucked in an area surrounded by 500k + houses filled with soccer moms and society wives. In fact, that is nearly the exact time that my GF was going there to get groceries -- This town is getting out of hand -- we moved out of downtown to avoid this kind of shit.

I don't think there is any good areas left in the city. You have to becareful where ever you are. With the population growing, there are lot of loosers coming into this city.

I've heard of shit going on in strathcona before. There's a surprising amount of idiots living in that hood. Nice places but there is still some ghetto ass subsidized housing in the vicinity.

you really only need to go across sarcee, and the type of houses and communities around there are no where close to as rich as the ones on the top of the hill... there are lots of nice areas there for sure, but there are also a bunch of sketchy ones, especially along 17ave (at least that's been my experiences with that part of town, going to house parties and whatnot)

sad to say...but calgary people really need to smarten up...ur not a small inoccent city anymore....lock your damn doors when youre inthe car driving!!!!....it should be common sense in any city

same goes with doors and windows to ur homes...it boggles my mind how many people in this city still leave them unlocked

when i first moved here last summer and lived in brentwood i was shocked to see NO clubs on any cars...not only that, but people would leave their cars running.....windows rolled down..i was like...wow what a nice safe city.....what a diff a year makes
