This is the single tuner model. I would like to upgrade so I am selling this one.

It's less than 2 years old, in mint condition.

Asking $450 firm

Do you have the model number?

P.S. Future Shop has the new 6416 Dual Tuner for $650.

where is it listed on their website? because the NON-PVR HD box is $450 + tax

found it on bestbuy for $750 + tax, which makes it $800.

I doubt futureshop (being the same company and having price match) would be $100 less. So my pricing seems reasonable, but it is OBO, so feel free to make a decent offer if you are interested.

if the dual tuner is indeed $650, then obviously I will have to adjust my asking price.

The DCT6208 should not be considered the same price as the DCT6412s or DCT6416s. With a single tuner you can only record one program at the same time, meaning say you want to record the hockey game, you have to watch the hockey game as well. You can still watch already recorded programs with though, so you can record the hockey game and watch something you taped. Also it has an 80GB HD instead of a 120 or 160.

The DCT6208 should be quite a bit cheaper than the DCT6412s and DCT6416s....

Well, $500 is quite a bit lower, and only $50 more (even less more if you consider taxes) than the non PVR HD box. I don't see how that's not a deal :dunno:

but I want it gone fast so if I don't have an offer, then I'll sell it tomorrow, im ok with that.

Y not just trade it in to shaw they'll give you $375 for it. I only paid $450 for my 6208 brand new so I have no idea how you arrived at $500+.

^ Stop the thread crapping.

From what I've seen in this thread, GoChris is a very reasonable seller, but I think you guys are push him too hard.

Free bump for GoChris!
