I have a 1985 Dodge Lancer for sale. Its a 2.2L Turbo, 3 speed automatic. The tranny was rebuilt last fall ($1200 bucks down the drain) and only has about 5K on it since then . The body is in very good condition, with no major rusting or damage to speak of. This has been a family owned car since the beginning and has a clean accident record, and I have records for nearly everything ever done to the car.

It does need a couple things however...

The "check engine" light is on, but I've had the codes read (yes I said codes on an '85) and its due to a faulty O2 sensor. Also sometimes when you first start up the car after its been sitting a couple of days the steering wheel is a little stiff for the first few minutes until it warms up. There is also a very minor oil leak that for the life of me could not be found. I even had the dealer put it through a test where the put a tracer in the oil and check the exterior with a UV light to see where its coming from and they couldn't find it either.

Other than the transmission, the only other major work this thing has needed was a head gasket replacement (4-cyl Chryslers are notorious for their head gaskets), and that was done about 20K ago.

The car runs real smooth, and theres really been no problem posed by that O2 sensor issue. It really is in absolutely remarkable shape for an '85.

Asking $900 obo.

See the pictures below

Please call 238-3442 and talk to Brad or Chris if interested.

Please note: There has been some people interested in me parting out the car (for the turbo or the rebuilt transmission). This is not something I am willing or prepared to do. If you want those things you will have to buy the car. (But, believe me, its still cheaper than buyin a rebuilt transmission from a shop)

Come on people... there has to be somebody who needs a cheap ride... Or better yet somebody who needs the Turbo or drivetrain for their Daytona or other small chrysler car.

Offers are welcome!
