I did a safety on a car i bought today and the mechanic gave me a document called SAFETY STANDARD CERTIFATE. it's written on it that it expires in 36 days. Does this mean that 36 days from now, i have to do another safety inspection?
I wanted to ask the lady at the ministry but she was so clueless on the subject of emmision and motorcycle liscence types that i figured i keep my mouth shut.
On a personal note, what's up with Ontario's retarded emmision regulations? The car i just bought had a valid emmision that was to expire in 07 january. Last week, i was asked by the ministry to go and do emmision before i get my plates. When i challenged them that it's still valid, they asked me to bring the D.O.B of the seller.:bullshit: The sellers day and month will be the new date i will do my emmision. So today, i go into a totally different mininstry and they told me that i have to do emmision in two years. Go figure.
I live in Ontario.
