im going to probally kill myself after posting this, but people are always saying how good thai thai is, well if you want to save a little bit and have a better sub go to kiam ahn on 17th ave,
right across from western canada highschool, now i dont mind
having to wait a little bit more, cause these people are friendly, heck its so good, ive eaten it for the last 11 days in a row. haha.
also they have all the same things as thai thai, and have better bubble tea.

also its only 5$ per sub

recommended(my favorites):
subs:
-chicken satay w/ cheese
-BBQ pork w/ cheese

bubble tea:
-Fresh Fruit Strawberry.

so hope you guys try it out, and just dont make the lines to long.

$5 a sub is pretty pricey...the sub standard for Viet subs are around $3.00-$3.50

im pretty sure if you cant afford 5$ for a sub, than you can always sell that 2002 pathfinder for a couple. haha :D

besides 3.00$ vs 5.00$ not much different, what can you do with that two extra dollars?

That's where I go for lunch. The owner is super nice so I don't mind giving him business even if other places might be better

$3 vs $5 : the difference is actually 2 subs. haha.

If I wanted to try out one of these "subs", where would I go to do this in the NW? Somewhere preferably close to the varsity area if possible. Thanks. Also what should I get, thanks.

haha actually its 1.6 subs, not two geez.
but seriously, 5$ is cheap, and 3$ is like bum change haha.

I like Trung Nguyen over Thi Thi, it's right in the mall behind Thi Thi and the line is less. $3.50 for the Banh Mi Thit Nguoi.

$3 x 5subs = $15 for 5 subs
$5 x 3subs = $15 for 3 subs

So for the same amount of $ you get 2 more subs at the cheaper place. But maybe my math is wrong, lol.

EDIT: Yea, I guess its 1.6 if you are only buying one, but I usually eat quite a bit more than you I guess. :)

Meh... sometimes I'll go to Thai Tai for lunch... sometimes Kim Anh. One day Kim Anh will be good, the next day I can't even finish the full sub. Vice versa for Thai Tai

AWESOME!

I live in McTowne and walk over to that Keg with my wife all of the time. I am now your best customer in that location.

Tons of other restaurants share that same parking lot. Its crazy.

Drove past the location craving a sub and realized that you guys are still under construction.

Any ideas as to when you are aiming to open up?

sorry, busy with work and couldnt reply.

that store on 130th is actaully a franchise. it is not owned by us. it is still under construction, yes. it was supposed to be done by the 15th of this month, but like any other business set backs always come up.

if all goes well the opening date will be Nov 1st.
thanks
