usdm engine alone should be 2-3k US. JDM engines depending on what year cost abit more.

try $4-5K US for a complete motor. That does not include the turbo or accessories.

Depending on your application, you are better off finding a Legacy GT, Forester XT long block. Those can be had for about $2-3K USD.

The long block from the GT and XT are EXACTLY the same as the USDM STi block.

JDM source can help you with a JDM motor which will be a 2.0. They also may be able to help you find a 2.5L USDM motor.

I know that Quirt Crawford has one for $4K USD + shipping.

^ i saw a few used ones go for those prices on nasioc.

some canadian vendors are selling complete v7/v8 jdm engines for 4-6k CDN.
gruppe-s carried a few for that price. also there is kingpin but there rep isnt so great.

^^ yup.

gruppe-s also has usdm engines they get rid of from time to time. that v7 they have has been on the site for a long time lol.
